For this Gamer Zone I am going to introduce you to...

Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games Rio 2016

This  game came out to celebrate the Olympic Games in Rio.

What is Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games Rio 2016?

Mario & Sonic is a collection of 24 games that are based on the Olympic Games. Players can be a Nintendo or Sega character while competing in events. Like some of the other games, it takes place in the host city of the Olympics and this year the host city is Rio de Janeiro.

What type of game is it?

Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games is a collection of twenty-four events based on the Olympic Games.

You play by moving the remote in a similar way to how the games are played in real life for example, swinging the Wii Remote to replicate hammer throw or pulling back the remote and tilting the Nunchuk like a bow and arrow,  or swinging the controller like a tennis racket.

You can choose to play as one of your favourite characters from Mario or Sonic games. There are over 35 available.

I have 2 favourite characters: Diddy Kong & Nabbit

What is the game about?

There were tarantulas and snakes. The huge snails were not in a cage you could touch them. I liked the Gecko.  This is an albino hedgehog from Africa. Nice soft bunnies. They were cuddling. There were all sorts of fish.  Can you spot the stick insect? The bird was flying around.
