Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games Rio 2016 This  game came out to celebrate the Olympic Games in Rio.  What is Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games Rio 2016? Mario & Sonic is a collection of 24 games that are based on the Olympic Games. Players can be a Nintendo or Sega character while competing in events. Like some of the other games, it takes place in the host city of the Olympics and this year the host city is Rio de Janeiro.
